We got some good sleeping taken care of over here. In this first picture Amelia clutches her new bowl that she made at a paint your own pottery place... We had picked it up that morning and she didn't want to give it up for naptime :)

Amelia naps at school in the loft - Tom arrived to pick her up and she was still asleep so he got to wake her up - we and she love it when this happens!

Zoë fell asleep sitting up...so she just tipped right over and cuddled herself up!

We went on our first trip to the park this afternoon after school - Zoë loved it!

And then we got home and Amelia put herself into the Johnny Jump Up...

Sleeping

This is how Zoë was positioned for much of her time in utero. I always felt her feet in my right ribs and always wondered why she felt so strong - now I know - I was feeling BOTH feet in my ribs. And her little hand was always up by her face. In every ultrasound we could see it, and the day before she was born the doctor could feel her fingers when he did an internal exam on me and told me that for my sake, he hoped she'd move her hand when labor started. I will always appreciate that she did move her hand for her journey out...

Our go to position during Amelia's naptime. So comfortable for both of us!

Day of Naps

While watching her new favorite show Amelia fell asleep on my chest. I might have actually fallen asleep first but when I woke up there was a snorting, soft little pig asleep on top of me. Another milestone for Amelia is that she now can be moved while sleeping. So I gently slid out from under her and left her on the couch. She stayed cashed out for about 20 more minutes.

Oh and the new favorite show is Thomas and Friends, starring Thomas the tank engine. She calls for it by saying, "Thomas! Thomas! Thomas!" And she does a pretty good job of pronouncing the name.

One nap wasn't enough. In the afternoon she was screaming at crayons so I put her in the back pack so I could work on the soup I was making. Soup making turned to vacuuming and the next thing I knew she was asleep and snoring.
Here is a closeup of her after I took the backpack off. About 20 minutes later she finally woke up for dinner.
